Wade "fortune 500", the First 18 minutes of the New Group Piece Jeremy Wade, Choreograf und Tänzer aus New York, graduierte 2000 an der School for New Dance Development (Amsterdam) und lebt seit 2006 in Berlin. Er überlebte mehr als 12 Jahre in New York City und war ein aktiver Teil des New Yorker Nachtlebens und der Downtown Dance Community. Wade war Gründungsmitglied von "Chez Bushwick", eine Lebens- und Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Performancekunst im idyllischen Industriepark von Bushwick, Brooklyn. Er arbeitet zur Zeit an einem neuen Gruppenstück, Premiere 2007 in Utrecht, Springdance Festival. In New York erhielt er in diesem Jahr den Bessie Award für die Kreation seines ersten abendfüllenden Stückes "Glory", das bei den Tanztagen im Januar 2007 in Berlin in der deutschen Version gezeigt wird und in diesem April Europa-Premiere in der Tanzfabrik Berlin hatte. The choreographer and dancer Jeremy Wade grew up in the small northeastern American mill town of Westbrook, ME and now resides in Berlin. Having lived and worked in New York City for over 10 years he was an active participant in the worlds of New York Nightlife and the Downtown Dance Community. Wade was an original member of Chez Bushwick, a live/work loft for the performing arts located in the beautiful industrial park of Bushwick, Brooklyn. He graduated from SNDO / Amsterdam in 2000. Wade has performed with international choreographers Alain Buffard, Gonie Heggen, David Zambrano, Erik Pold and Katie Duck´s Magpie Music and Dance. He has also collaborated with New York choreographers Stanley Love, Maria Hassabi, Michael Portony and Chameki/Lerner. In February 06 Wade premièred his first evening length work GLORY/FICTION at Dance Theater Workshop and soon after that performed at the Tanzfabrik, Berlin and the Springdance Dialogue 06. In 2006 Jeremy Wade received a New York, Bessie Award for the Choreography and Creation of GLORY at Dance Theater Workshop. GLORY was Jeremy's first evening length work. Produktion Mein Mund ist weit geöffnet und ich erbreche alles, was ich für diesen unerheblichen Gemeinschaftsabend geschluckt habe. Es gipfelt in einem Moment der Einfühlung, und alles wird glasklar. Ich kneife meine Nippel um sicher zu gehen, dass das alles hier echt ist: mein Begehrungsvermögen ist auf Empfang gestellt. Körperliche Zwischenspiele, trügerische Sonaten. I nehme einen Stift und schwärze meine Augen in jedem Bild, ich bin am Boden zerstört. Später stecke ich mir den Finger in den Arsch und berühre mich selbst von innen, es ist scheißkalt. Eine alte schwarzhaarige Tunte mit kunstvoll geschwollenen Brüsten dimmt das Licht. Der Teppich unter mir nimmt plötzlich eine kräftige rote Färbung an. (dt. Tweaking my nipples to make sure that it's real my lust is momentarily enabled. Somatic interludes, sonatas of deceit. I take a pen and blacken out my eyes in every picture blacken them in with devastation. Still further I stick my finger up my ass and touch my self from the inside it is ice cold. A hag with black hair artfully swollen breasts dims the lights. Suddenly the rug under me turns a deep red.
