Stuart / Damaged Goods Intimate Strangers Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz | 12.17.12.2006 During the last week of Tanz made in Berlin, the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz focuses on the work of American artist Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods by presenting under the name Intimate Strangers a selection of her past works in the big house. Besides her more recent pieces, this will be the last chance to see Disfigure Study, her first full-length evening filling piece with which she introduced a completely new and innovative understanding of body language to the dance world at the beginning of the 1990s. In an accompanying program curated by Meg Stuart herself, members, friends and fellows of her network-like organized company Damaged Goods show their current work. 12.12., 19:30 h Meg Stuart, Benoît Lachambre & Hahn Rowe: Forgeries, Love and Other Matters || 13.12., 19:30 h Forced Entertainment: The World in Pictures || 14.12., 19:30 h Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods: REPLACEMENT || 15.12. 19:30 Uhr Forced Entertainment: The World in Pictures | ab 21 h Performance/Music Night: Kotomi Nishiwaki & Abraham Hurtado; Anna MacRae; Simon Lenksi & Bo Wiget; Vania Rovisco & Jochen Arbeit || 16.12. 19:30 Uhr Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods: Disfigure Study (Zum letzten Mal!) | 20:45 h Tim Etchells: Starfucker | 21 h Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods: soft wear | 23 h The Books (Konzert) || 17.12. 16 Uhr SARMA : Alien Resident (Symposium) | 19:30 Uhr Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods: Its not funny | 22:00 Uhr: Tearjerker || Im Rahmen von Crossroads gefördert durch die Kulturstiftung des Bundes | Foto: Chris Van der Burght [www.volksbuehne-berlin/crossroads.de] [www.damagedgoods.be] nächster Beitrag / next >> |
