Chauchat & Frédéric Gies dance & marvel (praticable) Ballhaus Naunynstrasse | Premiere 8.12., 21 Uhr | 9.12., 21 Uhr | 40+20 min praticable is a project by Alice Chauchat, Frédéric de Carlo, Frédéric Gies, Isabelle Schad and Odile Seitz. It is a horizontal work structure, which relates research, creation, transmission and production to each other. This structure is marked by per-iods of joint research of/on physical practices, which serve as a basis for various pieces signed by one or more participants in the project. The development periods are part of the research periods. Thus, each specific project implies the involvement of all participants in the practice, the research and the elaboration of the practice from which the pieces ensue. dance (praticable) Ich konzentriere mich auf die körperlichen Quellen des Ausdrucks und der Bewegung, um die Begriffe von "Choreografie" und "Stil" zu hinterfragen. By focusing on the physical sources of expression and movement, I question the notions of "choreography" and "style". Seeking in the material of the body that which motivates the emergence of a movement, I expose and intertwine various choreo-graphic styles. The score of the piece allows others to make their own version and to become co-author of the choreography.
