To imagine a paradise in which the compulsively middle-class eat from the same pot as freaks and punks and crazy people seems almost completely absurd. We prefer to keep to our own. To create a normality. Would I be »crazy« if I tried to keep my self-conceived, accepted, and disregarded rules alive as a dying proliferation? Or would it really be madness to eliminate one’s doubts over intentionally or unintentionally adopted or created »values«?Inspired by Rainald Goetz's novel »Irre«, we are developing a piece with dancers and actors in order to find out something about the efforts we go through to be able to work within, outside of and on the edge of the 'normal', and to walk as carelessly as possible the slim lines of undespairing doubt.
