_ labor G. RAS
	_ Biographical Information labor G. RAS (Renate Graziadei, Arthur Stäldi und Susanne Braun) is the continuation of a long standing connection in the hopes of creating a network which will grow beyond the borders of Switzerland and Germany. Taking the surroundings of the two countries as point of departure labor G. RAS seeks an opening and a meeting wherever it becomes a need and a necessity and through this masters various cultural, culture-political and thematic spaces.
_ Approach to Work labor G. RAS does not work with a preconceived dramaturgical concept. The typical theatrical work processes, the imitation or the reliving after a thematic guideline has been substituted. Instead of the thematic postulate, the allegation, there is the opening up and the process. The moment of meeting is always central. Along with practitioners of other areas of art, the aim is to explore new fields for experimentation in dance within a laboratory environment. Continuously varied combinations shall give rise to something new. There is thus no remaining hierarchy within the employed artistic elements: labor G. RAS strives for equality between all the arts involved. The aim is always to unite the different materials to a weight-bearing aesthetic whole, which has to hold up to judgement and cannot just escape into work-in-progress excuses.
_ Current Production "temporary stories" _ At the beginning of 1999 labor G. RAS decided to initiate a project with different practitioners of similar artistic background: together with Rebecca Hilton, Richard Siegal and David Hernandez a short piece was created in separated rehearsal phases. Three different approaches to work, different questions, body-languages and methods interact with three bodies which remain "the same" and "respond" with their different histories and intelligence.
