_ Jonna Huttunen
	_ Biographical Information Jonna Huttunen was born in Lappeenranta, Finland, and finished her A levels at the school for performing arts in Helsinki. Afterwards she studied dance education at the Finnish School for Theatre and from 94 onwards choreography at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch Berlin. She graduated from there in 98. Since then she has created several full-length choreographies for independent companies and for the Tanztheater Leipzig. She taught modern dance and contact improvisation in Finland and Germany and has been dancing in various productions and performances in Berlin, Leipzig and Helsinki. Since 99 apart from working as an independent choreographer in Berlin, she has been the head of the Tanztheater Leipzig. For the Tanztheater Leipzig she has choreographed three pieces so far: "SISU", "Ort des Anderen" and "Abraumbrücke". With "Ort des Anderen" she was invited to festivals in Lithuania, France and Finland.
_ Approach to Work The topic of Jonna Huttunen's choreographies associates a kind of suggestive search: the going beyond limits - spatial and human, formal and emotional. This search means precise observations of humans now and here, which are then overdrawn to snapshots. Jonna Huttunen creates excessively artistic and virtuoso elements and brings these into her own form. She develops scenarios of an seemingly artificiality, in which the body almost seems to implode.
_ Current Production "Fake I" is the second part of a trilogy about the endless mirroring of and between humans. An odyssey through a no manšs land. Endlessly the same dilemma. Me and the other. The same and others. At times a duo, at times a dual. Double. Clones. True and false. Endless reflections in two mirrors facing each other. Me is someone else. And the touching of the otheršs skin is like touching onešs own, only nicer.	_ Future Projects 2001: "I'll be your mirror" (provisional title) - 3. part of the trilogy about the American photo artist Nan Goldin.
