_ Approach to Work

For both choreographers the scenography is central to their pieces. They emphasise the relationship between the body and object. The interaction with different kinds of objects provokes scenes, actions, physical situations and - images. In their installations they set up bodies and objects into spatial, aesthetic and dynamic relationships or animate them through simple mechanisms. Their interest in the bizarre and absurd facets of human life, perception and the material world crystallise progressively in their works.

_ Current Production

"La Symphonie Obscène", first showing, at the Tanztage im Pfefferberg (1999) is absurd theatre which turns normal ways of seeing upside down in a playful way. Distorted perspectives and twisted axes transform it into a dynamic landscape of animated bodies.
